Hello Everyone,

Thank you all so much for your patience. Your backing in this campaign and belief in the vision of 828 leggings is the starting foundation of Brüt Force Athletics. These past several months since January have been challenging, but nothing we cannot overcome because this project is a labor of love. Many of you backers are family and friends who have witnessed the hard work behind the scenes. I really value your support throughout this journey as we work together to make these leggings a reality.

I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of communication since the launch ended. We have been met with unforeseen issues and setbacks. I want to take the time to address every one of your concerns, so this announcement will be lengthy. [1] Issues and Resolutions on Production

At the end of the launch, there was a trade war looming, so we anticipated issues with production in Taiwan and China. To avoid this entirely, we attempted to move production elsewhere to South America. 

However, after consulting with vendors in South America and visiting their facilities, we discovered that the cost of moving production to a new country would be more than the cost of keeping production in Taiwan and China and paying the anticipated tariffs. 

In addition, producing the fabric in one country and producing the leggings in another country would add more time to overall production. We did not anticipate these issues that would arise in producing in two different countries. 

As a result, we have decided to continue with production of both the fabric and leggings in Taiwan and China. 

In the months that we were not communicating, we have spent our time addressing the production issues mentioned above, as well as issues related to the fit of the leggings, and improving the quality of the fabric.

[2] Update on Timeline and Extending Delivery to End of August

We are currently preparing for production with our vendor in Taiwan and China. Our partners in production are incredibly excited to join us on our journey make these leggings a reality.

To account for the issues that have risen and been addressed, we are now extending the delivery date to the end of August to begin shipment of the leggings.

As of right now, we are happy to let you know that these leggings are a strong probability. Please understand that this is still not a 100% guarantee, although we are doing everything we can to get your leggings to you. We want to stay fully transparent with regards to when we would be able to start shipping your leggings. 

[3] Official Survey Release on Wednesday, 05/22/2019

We have partnered with BackerKit because of their easy, simple, and intuitive survey process. 

The survey will officially be sent out on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. The survey will cover sizing, color choices, shipping address, and much more!

As promised for our campaign stretch goal, all workouts for the 6 weeks of customized workout plans are available now!

[5] Regular Communication Moving Forward

We take full accountability for the lack of communication during the past several months. We sincerely apologize for not providing regular updates and being transparent with our progress. We are taking this opportunity to learn from our mistakes. 

Moving forward, one of our top priorities will be to always provide consistent and honest communication. You will receive an update on the production and delivery of these leggings at least once every two weeks.
